The tall pines that make The Woodlands beautiful also keep its yards dark at noon. That heavy canopy is why so many homes here light upward, and it’s how the trees that steal the daylight become the yard’s best feature after dark.
Common Landscape Lighting Questions
Questions & Answers
How long does Christmas light installation take?
Most homes take a few hours to a day, depending on roofline size and how much of the yard we’re lighting. Bigger displays with tree wraps can run longer. We’ll give you a time frame with your free estimate.
Do you supply the lights, or can I use my own?
Either works. We install commercial-grade LED strands cut to fit your roofline, or we can hang strands you already own if they’re in good shape. We’ll tell you honestly if yours won’t last the season.
Will hanging lights damage my roof?
No. We use clips made for rooflines and ridgelines, not staples or nails. Everything comes off clean at takedown with no holes and no marks.
Do the lights stay up all season?
Yes, they’re mounted to hold through wind, rain, and storm season. If a strand or bulb goes out while they’re up, we come fix it. Your display should look right every night, not just install day.
When do the lights come down?
After the holidays, on your schedule. Takedown is part of the service, and we can test, box, and store everything in labeled totes until next year.
Can you light my trees and yard too, or just the roof?
The whole scene. We wrap trunks, light canopies, and add yard pieces so the house and yard read as one display. Roof-only is fine too if that’s what you want.
How early should I book?
The earlier the better. Fall dates fill up fast, and booking ahead leaves time to design your display instead of rushing it. Late calls still get handled when the schedule allows.
How much does it cost?
It depends on roofline length, home height, and how much you’re lighting, so there’s no flat price. Estimates are free with no trip fee, and you’ll get a real number after we look at your home.
